2: THE I.S.A & IVERK SHOW PRESENT (Qualifier)

THE ALL IRELAND BROODMARE AND FOAL TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
RULES AND CONDITIONS

  1. Entries are confined to registered non-thoroughbred broodmares with a foal at foot.
  2. Each mare and her foal will be judged as a unit: 60% for the mare and 40% for the foal.
  3. A Maximum of Two exhibits may qualify, provided the judges feel the standard is high enough for an ISA Championship.
  4. This competition is open to animals registered in a World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses (WBFSH) studbook or a Department of Agriculture Food and The Marine (DAFM) approved studbook with recorded breeding.
  5. The mare’s passport will be inspected before judging commences. Exhibitors failing to produce a passport will be debarred from competing.
  6. Qualified mares may not compete in other classes at Iverk Show.
  7. Foals are eligible to compete in the foal classes at Iverk Show.
  8. Foals must be led at all times.
  9. The Qualifying Exhibitor must fill out their own Qualifying Card at each Qualifying Show. Completed card and entry fee must be handed into the secretary’s office on show day.

ENTRY FEE: To qualifying show £12; to final €30
PRIZES: Champion €1000; 2nd €600; 3rd €400; 4th €300; 5th €150; 6th to end €120 on appearance at Final
FINAL: Iverk Show Saturday 22nd August 2026

All entries should be on the field by 8am for judging to commence at 9.30am
NOTE - In Classes 1 to 100 no prize will be awarded in respect of any animal, which in the opinion of the Society's Honorary Veterinary Surgeons, is not sound
In the Event of Insuffient Entries Classes May be Suitably Amalgamated

RING 3: (Classes 69-71, 73-85) Judging commencing at 9.30am

RING 4: (Classes 34-43) Judging commencing at 9.30am

  • RIDDEN HORSES

RING 5: (Classes 45-49 & Class 72) Judging commencing at 10.30am SHARP

  • CLASS 72 RIDDEN CONNEMARA OUGHTERARD QUALIFIER (Judged after all Showing Classes and Working Hunter Horse Classes are finished)
